Introduction

Although some will argue otherwise, it’s widely accepted that priests are the dominant healing class in World of Warcraft: Classic. They’re loved by all because of their large repertoire of useful spells and ability to consistently top healing metres. I personally refer to them as the ‘master class’—but I’m biased.

To help you become the best priest possible in the shortest time frame, the following information is intended to be an essentials guide covering many things including levelling, gearing and healing dungeons/raids. If you’d like to see anything else included, be sure to let me know in the comments section below.

This guide focuses on healing in end game raid content. In the future, I aim to include some more hints and tips for shadow as it is a fun off-spec and part of the overall priest experience in my opinion.

I’m currently playing a priest called Jean on Arugal.
